Margareth from United Kingdom, August 30, 2012 at 5:41 PM Hotel San Luca was wonderful! We arrived late evening and received a very warm welcome. Througout our stay all staff were extremely helpful. Our room was very good – very clean: lots of good quality toiletries: able to control air-conditioning: well-stocked mini-bar. Fabulous breakfast every morning: staff very good Shame we had to leave.

This is getting a bit further subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has further flair, as well as some cool features similar ‘Mixview’ that allow you quickly see related albums, songs, or other visitors related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on individual of those will center on that item, and another set of « neighbors » will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of visitors, the Zune « Social » is additionally vast fun, letting you find others with shared tastes as well as becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privateness will be relieved to recognize you be capable to avoid the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Mr. Huston -You’d know me if you saw me as I’ve been a Tea Party participant at the past few Republican State Central Committee meetings you’ve attended.I feel the need to address Erik Rayman’s response in this article. As a co-coordinator for the Bureau-LaSalle Tea Party I need to assure anyone who may think otherwise that we’ve never, repeat never, turned anyone away from one of our meetings; Chris Arndt has never to my knowledge called Adam Kinzinger a traitor; we have had someone wearing a Kinzinger t-shirt in attendance – more than once and that person was treated as genially and cordially as anyone there; I personally verified the fact that Kinzingers venue on the 3rd was arranged a week or less prior to our meeting with Manzullo; in fact, the LaSalle County Central Committee postponed their normal 1st Tuesday of the month meeting for the Precinct Committeemen to be able to attend our meeting – it was only within the last few days before it that Kinzingers meeting became known; this past Tuesday at the Central Committee meeting Erik Rayman appeared and admitted that at the meeting on the 3rd and another one in Belvidere shortly thereafter they did, indeed, deny admission to someone from Manzullo’s staff. The reason he gave was so recordings of Kinzinger couldn’t be taken and utimately be in an opponents ad – that this had been their policy since Adam’s initial run 2 years ago and that ‘it’s politics’. In other words, it’s fine to have an open to the public meeting but to then be able to discriminate just who the public is.As far as the Chair’s grandson is concerned, yes, he does attend most of our meetings, was not denied entrance nor the ability to record and is always treated with respect. His questions were taken and answered by Manzullo and there was no problem – unlike the implication by Rayman.

The King’s Speech has actually earned more money at the box office than The Social Network (according to Box Office Mojo), so I don’t think it’s entirely fair to claim that there’s “such a disconnect between the Academy and the public.” Truthfully, I think The King’s Speech is a better movie than The Social Network — I thought the latter was enjoyable, but hardly the best movie I saw last year, and certainly not better than TKS, Inception, or even TS3. I thought The Social Network’s point was ultimately to take advantage of the popularity of Facebook, but the movie’s kind of hollow. And I’m in that younger demographic the Academy is so desperate to reach. The bigger problem the Academy faces is an industry problem: movies either make money, or they’re good. There isn’t much room in between. If Hollywood went back to making movies that people actually enjoyed, the Oscars would normalize. But you can see it every year: Halle Berry will make a movie like Monster’s Ball for the credibility/awards bait (I still think she’s a mediocre actress) and then make X2 for the payoff. Maybe movies like Inception and The Social Network will start to shift Hollywood back in the other direction, but I doubt it.
